We left Roche Harbor yesterday and traveled through Haro Strait to pass turn point on Stuart Island. We didn't stop we will have to on the way back it is one of our favorites. We checked into customs at Bedwell Harbor on Pender Island, it was a quick stop. We continued on through Swanson Channel, Trincomali Channel to Dodds Narrows. We timed it perfectly to pass through the narrows, if the current is running to swiftly you have to wait until the current slows. We followed a couple of sail boats through and a Krogen from Bend OR. We passed Nanaimo and decided on an anchorage on Lasquieti Island. We are headed north now planning to get to Desolation Sound for the night. Having a great time. The weather is in the 70's and the seas are calm. I have seen a few dolphins in the distance, wish they weren't so shy!
