Hello

We have been out of service for the past few days. A lot has happened to share. Our friends  Marie, Russ, Audie and Sandy boarded in Ketchikan on Saturday. We have had so much fun. We anchored in fools inlet the last couple of days, so appropriate... We have been eating more crab than we should, but it is so good. Today we went to the Anan Bear Observatory, south or Wrangell. It is a day that I will never forget. We got up close and personal with black bears, brown bears and more eagles than I could count. The bears eat at a river that is so fun of pink salmon. They are semi interested in the people which was a bit unnerving but the fish is there main concern, thankfully. I took 1,600 pictures and I am just going to share a few, it was so amazing. There was a small one year old that got pushed out of the den and was on this own. He was in several trees watching the others fish, until a  mean black bear decided to go after him. This all happened within 30 feet of us. Thankfully the mean older bean wasn't able to get to the baby, but it was very tense for awhile. We say a mommy and baby brown bear fish for awhile. The ranger told us that the mother had two cubs earlier in the week, but only one remained. The baby was very vocal when his mother got to far away. The bears put on quite a show, eating the fat fish and fighting for there favorite fishing spot. We are in Wrangell for the night. Marie has been feeding us wonderful meals. The guys are up a few games on sequence, but hopefully that will change real soon. Having a great time, we are headed to Craig for some fishing. We will keep you updated cell service permitting. Still loving to ride the waves.
