Cruise on the Bosphorus
The Golden Horn is a historic inlet of the Bosphorus dividing the city of Istanbul. We cruised up the Bosphorus on a ferry. The Bosphorus divides the continents of Asia and Europe. The world's narrowest strait connecting the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara, which is connected by the Dardanelles to the Aegean shores. We saw many sites on the shoreline, The Maiden's Tower, Dolmabahce Palace, Ciragan Palace, BBebek, Rumeli Fortress, and worked our way up to the opening into the Black Sea. We hiked to the top of the hill in Rumeli Kavagi, to the castle of Yoros. The weather was beautiful, and a truly memorable day.
