Haghia Sophia

We explored Haghia Sophia more than 1,400 years old, originally built as a church. In the 15th century The Ottomans converted it into a mosque.  When the church was converted into a mosque all of the beautiful mosaics and murals where covered over. Today you can see some of the original artwork has been restored.
