Moldova to The Danube Delta in Romania

We left Moldova today and drove to The Danube Delta. A long drive, but a lot to see along the way. The countryside is cluttered with peasant villages. The horse drawn carts are overflowing with hay, and the Gypsy wagons are loaded with family members dressed in bright colored clothing. The Gypsy's stand along the road side and sell mushrooms, berries and crafts that they have made. There is an area that we passed that had copper pots, kettles, planters etc. that they sell. They are really interesting, and sad to see how they live in such poverty, especially the children. They are more or less outcasts, and the women and children beg on the streets... We are staying in a home on the Danube Delta. We will fish tomorrow and hopefully have more opportunity to film the amazing wildlife in this area. The Delta flows into the Black Sea. The Delta is "sweet water" or fresh, so the fishing will be for pike and carp. We had a lovely fish dinner, and with the long day of driving I am exhausted. An early day tomorrow that hopefully I can share.
