Still in Long Beach California

We are still in Long Beach awaiting the start of the LBYC Fubar starting Monday November 7th. We have been enjoying the sun and relaxing. We took in another farmers market yesterday and enjoyed a Houl'oween dog parade. We got our puppy fixes, there where a lot of english bulldogs to snuggle up to. Bill has been waiting for some motor mounts to arrive. We had a couple collapse on our trip south and they need to be replaced.  The original mounts where not designed for a forward thrust, which led to an early demise. We are waiting for poly mounts coming from Canada. Our AIS (Automatic Identification System) sending unit has not been sending since we arrived here in Long Beach. We have adjusted the settings and changed out some connections. The unit is operating correctly, our technician has advised us on how to correct the situation and none of his advice has corrected the problem. He thinks with the naval base close by and all of the sailboats in the marina we may be in a dead zone for transmission. We will see when we leave the marina if that is the problem... Looking forward to heading out next week, we will keep you posted.
