Bahia Chamela

We traveled about 100NM from Puerto Vallarta yesterday, on calm seas. Our anchorage at Bahia Chamela has been relaxing, although the surge has kept us rolling more than I like…  Just outside the bay we noticed Randy and Nancy Sysol on Antipodes, a 55’ Yachtsmith just ahead of us. Once our anchor was set we swam over to say hello to our fubarista friends.

Bahia Chamela is beautiful with miles of golden beaches. The guide books recommend the northern anchorage with north wind protection. It is an amazing place.

Anna Mae is fit and ready to continue another short day of cruising to Bahia Tenacatita, 30 NM to our south.

Another day in paradise.
